Jodhpur is far enough that the train is the sensible way north. Driving it is possible and almost nobody does. From Marwar the route runs east through Jaipur, which makes Braj a natural extension of a Rajasthan trip rather than a separate journey. Several people add it to the end of a Jaipur stay.
