5 Days Braj 84 Kos Yatra Package
The Braj 84 Kos Yatra is a 252 km parikrama of the country where Krishna grew up. Walked in the traditional way it takes several weeks. This five-day package covers the same circuit by road, and it exists for people who want the whole route rather than the three or four temples a day trip can reach.

The Braj 84 Kos Yatra is a 252 km parikrama of the country where Krishna grew up. Walked in the traditional way it takes several weeks. This five-day package covers the same circuit by road, and it exists for people who want the whole route rather than the three or four temples a day trip can reach.
Five days takes in Mathura and Vrindavan, Govardhan with Radha Kund and Kusum Sarovar, Barsana and Nandgaon, Gokul, Mahavan and Dauji at Baldeo, then Kamyavan and Deeg. Between the temples everyone knows sit the smaller leela sthals, the kunds and the groves that a one-day tour has no room for. Those are the stops that make it a parikrama rather than a itinerary of famous buildings.
You travel in a private AC vehicle with a driver who runs these roads regularly, which matters more on this route than on any other we operate. Much of the circuit is village road, signage is thin, and the sensible approach to a temple is frequently not the one a map offers. Walking is optional throughout — most groups do a short symbolic parikrama and ride the rest.
Pickup is from Delhi, Mathura Junction, Vrindavan or your hotel. Four nights can be arranged on request in an ashram, a dharamshala or a hotel, whichever suits you, and the day plan is built around darshan hours rather than the other way round. The pacing is deliberately unhurried, which is why families and older travellers manage the full circuit comfortably.

5 days, planned day by day
46 stops in the plan, starting around 07:00 AM. The order below is the order the driver works to, so the page and the day match.
Ordered around the queues
Stops are arranged so you are not crossing the same ground twice, and so the busiest darshan falls at its calmest hour rather than its worst.
Dropped as close as the lanes allow
Several temples here cannot be reached by car at all. The driver takes you to the nearest point that works and waits there, which is a different thing from being left at a car park.
Private vehicle, one driver
A private AC cab for the whole trip, never shared and never swapped part-way. The car stays with you at every stop.
One figure, not a rate card
Tolls, state taxes, parking and the driver’s allowance are inside the quote. Rooms and meals are separate and quoted on request.
Reordered rather than rushed
Darshan queues and traffic move the clock. When they do, the driver changes the order of the day instead of making you stand in the longest queue — and tells you before doing it.
Detailed itinerary
Day by Day, Hour by Hour
Times are planned, not fixed. Darshan queues, traffic and temple slots move on the day — your driver adjusts the order rather than dropping stops.
Mathura & Vrindavan Local Darshan
Breakfast at Hotel
Eat properly before you leave. Day one is the longest on your feet and lunch is not until one.
Dwarkadhish Temple
Mathura’s principal Krishna temple, and the right first stop — the morning darshan is far calmer than the afternoon one.
Vishram Ghat • Yamuna Poojan
Yamuna poojan at the ghat, then a slow walk along the water. The steps stay wet in places, so watch your footing.
Shri Krishna Janmasthan Temple
The birthplace complex. Security here is strict — phones, bags and cameras normally stay in the vehicle, so carry nothing you would mind leaving behind.
Keshav Dev Temple • Potra Kund
Keshav Dev stands in the same complex, and Potra Kund is the stepped tank beside it, tied to Krishna’s infancy.
Lunch Break
A sattvik vegetarian lunch, and a real sit-down. The afternoon moves across to Vrindavan.
Shahji Temple
First stop in Vrindavan, and worth the detour for the spiral marble columns — there is nothing else like them in Braj.
Nidhivan
The grove that empties at dusk and that nobody stays in overnight. Whatever you make of the stories, it is a quiet place in the middle of a loud town.
Radha Vallabh Temple • Radha Raman Temple
Two of Vrindavan’s older temples, and both a good deal quieter than the Banke Bihari crowd waiting later in the evening.
Rangnath Temple • Durga Temple
Rangnath is built on a South Indian plan and a far larger scale than its neighbours. Whether both stops fit depends on how the day has run.
Prem Mandir (Evening View)
Timed for the evening, when the marble is lit. The illumination schedule shifts with the season, so this is an approximate hour rather than a fixed one.
Banke Bihari Temple
The busiest darshan of the day by some distance. The crowd decides how long it takes, and we may reorder the last stops around it.
Return to Hotel • Dinner • Overnight
Back to the hotel for dinner. Day two starts earlier than this one did.
Govardhan Circuit (Temple Route + Kunds + Sarovars)
Breakfast & Departure
An early departure. Govardhan is a circuit rather than a single stop, and the whole day works better ahead of the crowd.
Danghati Temple • Manasi Ganga
Danghati sits where the parikrama road cuts through the hill. Manasi Ganga is a short walk on, and the poojan there is unhurried in the morning.
Jatipura • Govardhan Parvat Pooja
Jatipura is where most parikramas formally begin. How much of it you walk is entirely your call, and the vehicle stays with you either way.
Shyam Kund • Radha Kund
The two tanks sit next to each other. Bathing follows local custom and is not something we arrange or advise on — ask at the kund itself.
Lunch Break
Lunch at a local bhojanalay, then a proper break before the afternoon.
Kusum Sarovar • Chandra Sarovar
Kusum Sarovar is the best-looking stop of the day — sandstone pavilions along the water, and the afternoon light suits it.
Optional Extensions (Route Based)
Deeg Mahal, Punchri ka Lotha and similar points go in only if the day has run to time. Several places along this stretch carry Himalayan names locally — they are theme sites rather than the originals, and which you see depends on the route.
Return to Hotel
Back for dinner. Govardhan is the longest driving day of the five.
Nandgaon & Kokilavan Route
Breakfast & Departure
Out towards Barsana and Nandgaon. They are twin villages and the day moves between the two.
Gehvar Van • Shri Ji Temple (Radha Rani Temple)
Shri Ji stands on top of Gehvar hill, up a long flight of steps. Say so in advance if anyone in the group would struggle with them and we will plan the approach.
Maan Mandir • Gomti Kund
Both sit close to Barsana and fit naturally once you are back down from the hill.
Lunch Break
Lunch locally, and a rest before the afternoon stops.
Garuda Govind • Shergadh • Kot Van (as per route)
Which of these you see depends on the road and the hour. They are small sites and none of them takes long.
Nandeshwar Temple • Nand Bhawan
Nandgaon’s own hill temple, and the house associated with the family Krishna grew up in. This is the Nandgaon half of the day.
Kokila Van
A quiet close to the day. The van is at its best in the last hour of light.
Return to Hotel • Dinner • Overnight
Back to the hotel for dinner and the night.
Bhandirvan → Belvan → Gokul Circuit
Breakfast & Start
Today covers the van country and Gokul, which is flatter and easier walking than Barsana was.
Bhandirvan / Bhadravan (as per route)
Which van you open with depends on the road that morning — this stretch is properly rural and conditions vary.
Belvan • Lohvan • Bansivat (Route Based)
A run of smaller van sites. The distances between them are short but the roads are slow.
Lunch Break
Lunch and a rest at a local stop.
Mahavan • Gokul
Gokul is where the childhood stories are set, with Mahavan just before it. Both are compact enough to see properly rather than at a jog.
Raman Reti • Dauji • Chaurasi Khamba
Raman Reti is sand you can walk barefoot on. Dauji at Baldeo is the Balram temple, and Chaurasi Khamba is the eighty-four-pillar hall close by.
Brahmand Ghat
The last stop of the day, down on the river. Late afternoon is the right time to be there.
Return to Hotel • Dinner • Overnight
Back to the hotel for the final night.
Mathura Local Visit • Market • Departure
Breakfast & Local Market Visit
A slower morning. The Mathura markets are the place for peda, and for the brass and cloth the town trades in.
Braj Bhumi Darshan (Optional)
If your train or bus leaves late enough, one or two short stops still fit here.
Lunch • Pack Up
Lunch, then check out and load the vehicle.
Drop at Bus Stand / Railway Station
The tour ends at Mathura Junction or the bus stand, whichever suits your onward travel.
